BUSY

I haven't been able to update my blog since Sunday. We are in the midst of "Guys and Dolls" at my High School. The performances are this weekend. I am busy helping the kids with their music and making costumes. I was thinking of putting up some St. Patrick's Items over the weekend. Some American Girl doll outifts, maybe a St. Patrick's Day Art Doll? What do you think?

Shamrock fiber jewlery necklace/lariat

I just completed this beautiful lariat in time for St. Patrick's Day. It was listed this evening in my ETSY store. It measures 7 feet long and is made of 100% cotton yarn. A great fashion accessory for this time of year.

Great Horned Owl

Here is my newest stuffed animal. He is so adorable. My kids have adopted the other owls, this one was listed on Etsy this morning. If you click on the picture, it will take you directly to my ETSY shop.

It's an Owl

I just finished my little stuffed owl. How cute! He will go up on ETSY tomorrow morning.
I will post pictures tomorrow.

Stuffed Animals

There seems to be a lot of interest in my stuffed animals. I came up with this basic pattern a couple of days ago, actually at about 5 o'clock in the morning. I am designing a whole line of Wizard of Oz Art Dolls using this pattern. I should have Dorothy done by Friday. Keep checking my blog and my etsy shop.

I began working on an Art Doll last night. She is made completely in shades of pink. I don't know what I'll call her, Pink Penelope, Petunia, Rose, I will keep thinking. Don't forget about the free shipping sale in our Etsy shop.

Update as of 2-17-09
She was so cute my 9 year old adopted her all ready. I guess I will start on another Art Doll for Etsy now.

New American Girl Doll Creations

Here are pictures of two of my new American Girl Doll Designs. I used crochet thread instead of thicker yarns for the Shrug. The gauge looks right for the Doll. It is in a frosted cherry, cranberry color. The design is an open crochet pattern, perfect shrug for Spring, Easter, etc.

The Hoodie is in Baby Doll Pink. The perfect coat/sweater for those spring days.

Both items will be listed on ETSY later tonight and maybe Art Fire, we might try selling on both.

UPDATE as of 2-17-09
We listed both items. The pink shrug is fast becoming one of our most viewed items. I will start designing more. Click on the Etsy button at the top of the page to get to our Etsy shop.

Art Fire, Etsy or Both

I just started hearing about Art Fire. We are wondering if it would be a good idea to sell on both sites. It would give us more exposure. Art First seems reasonable with their current special. What do you think?

Oh, the new listings I promised will be up tonight. We went KOHL'S clearance shopping last night.
